The app has 23 lessons arranged in sequence on the Map. Each lesson is represented by a circular node.

🟢 Green — current lesson (unlocked)
🟠 Orange — completed
⚫ Gray — not yet unlocked

Complete the current lesson to unlock the next one.

📚 5 Cards per Lesson

Each lesson consists of 5 cards that must be completed in order:

📖 Grammar — learn sentence patterns and examples
💬 Dialogue — read sample conversations
✏️ Practice — fill-in-the-blank exercises
🎧 Listening — listen and choose the correct answer
🎤 Shadowing — read aloud and get AI-scored

Each card is locked until the previous one is completed.

🎤 Shadowing & AI Scoring

In the Shadowing card, you read the displayed Japanese sentence aloud. The app uses your device's speech recognition to compare your pronunciation with the original.

Score formula: Score = (1 − edit distance / max length) × 100%

Scoring 50% or above → pass the lesson and unlock the next one.

💡 Speak clearly at a natural pace. Background noise affects your score.

🔋 Energy

Each account has a maximum of 5 Energy points per day.

Opening each lesson card in the Lesson Hub costs 1 point
5 points = 1 complete lesson (5 cards) per day
Energy automatically resets to 5/5 at midnight (device time)

💡 Out of Energy? Watch an ad to instantly restore +1 point.

🔥 Streak — Daily Learning Chain

Your streak increases each time you complete the Shadowing card in a day.

If you skip a day, your streak resets to 0.

💡 Complete at least one lesson every day to maintain your streak!

🏆 Leaderboard

The weekly leaderboard shows the top 30 users by highest streak count.

Tap the "Leaderboard" button in the top-left corner of the Map to view it.
